Academy Hatchlings/New Signings Round-up

Defenders

Photobucket37. Srdjan Radovic (DR)Photobucket
Not looking good for the 16 year old right-back, showing 1.5 stars of potential at 40% of assessment. The bin would be calling if it weren't for the fact that Nedeljko looks equally dismal.

Photobucket41. Sasa Vaskovic (DC)Photobucket
15 year old Sasa is the most recent hatchling, and prospects don't look good. Reasonably far down the pecking order for DCs and not as yet exhibiting the skills or potential to move him up said pecking order.

Photobucket39. Zeljko Medjedovic (DC)Photobucket
16 year old Zeljko is one of those ahead of Sasa, a burly, strong and canny centre half.

Photobucket2. Radivoje Golubovic (DR)Photobucket
A real player, but back with Transfermarkt.co.uk due to apparent obscurity. 19 and snaffled for £15.7k from free agency, Raddy has the abilities and the prospects to take over from Boggers at DR fulltime in the first team at some point in the near future.

Photobucket3. Vuk Martinovic (DL)Photobucket
Another real player with the same Transfermarktitis as Raddy. Also like Raddy, he has everything needed to take over in the first team in time (this time on the left, replacing Burak the Turk if/when he goes). A year older than Raddy at 20, but a similar fee from free agency. Not sure what's going on with the pic, blame Google Image Search.

Photobucket17. Zarko Tomasevic (DC)Photobucket
20 year old giant defender, Montenegrin U21 international and currently plying his real life trade in Portugal for CD Nacional. Snaffled from free agency for £19k, we have big hopes for young Zarko.

Photobucket12. Nemanja Janicic (DC)Photobucket
Another giant defender (we breed our DCs big here on the Black Mountain), 23 year old Nemanja is currently flitting in and out of the first team, deputising for "Uncle" Vanja Dzaferovic. That's Nemanja on the floor in the pic, apparently.

Midfielders

Photobucket40. Vladimir Kovac (AMLC/FC)Photobucket
Tiny Montenegrinling from the academy, unimpressive initial assessment, not bright green in any position we currently play. Prognosis: grim to released.

Photobucket10. Simon Vukcevic (AMLC)Photobucket
The big one. All £35k wage and £875k MV of him. Although, if I'm perfectly honest, I might have thought twice had I known about his sartorial preferences BEFORE he unlocked. Still, a goal and an assist every third game so far is none too shabby. Our biggest, baddest signing to date, it could be argued that Simon is a luxury the team could do without. Do I care? Do I buggery. Shove THAT in your football pipe and set fire to yourself.
